About the role:
The Data Management Coordinator will assist the LSU Head of Department (HoD) and LSU staff to update and manage spreadsheet data records and transition LSU data to a new cloud-based Management Information System being developed by the Pacific Labour Facility (PLF). The position may also be required to provide assistance in establishing an effective visa processing system.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist with the rollout of the in-country Recruitment Database (IRD) in Timor-Leste for the Seasonal Work Program (SWP) and the Pacific Labour Scheme (PLS), including working with TIC – Tecnologia da Informação e Comunicação, an external IT service provider, uploading data, providing assistance to staff, and facilitating feedback
* Support for the collection, storage, analysis and reporting of program data including:
* Workers’ applications status and their personal data
* Recruitment and selection information
* Fitness and medical tests results
* Visa applications status
* Mobilisation information
* Employers’ information.
* Assist with the production and timely submission of all deliverables, including periodic reporting requirements indicating progress towards key program milestones
* Facilitate data collection amongst LSU and beyond as well as inform the LSU and the PLF staff members on in-country information gaps, needs and use
* Collate data from a variety of sources to ensure all relevant information is included in program systems
* Develop a system and processes for working through historical data and enter this data into existing spreadsheets and databases
* Ensure client confidence and safeguard program operations by keeping all data confidential
* Maintain the integrity of data that contains Personally Identifiable Information
* Identify training and support needs and providing training to Labour Sending Unit (LSU) and PLF staff members as required
* Maintain and update regularly the National Directorate of External Employment (DNEE) website
* Provide troubleshooting support for IT requirements of the LSU team, including the PLF staff
* Capacity building of LSU Data Manager when appointed
* Other duties as may reasonably be required by Labour Mobility Engagement (LME) Manager consistent with the incumbent’s qualifications and experience.

Required Qualifications:

The Data Management Coordinator will possess the following qualifications and experience:
* Experience working with databases, data procedures, and data administration
* Experience in qualitative and/or quantitative data analysis
* Ability to scan large volumes of data in a short time frame
* Outstanding attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
* Experience in supporting the ongoing development and implementation of cloud-based Management Information Systems
* Proven ability to plan and manage schedules, files/database and working materials as well as to keep confidentiality of documents and information
* Skills in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
* Experience in facilitating workshops, training activities and coaching/mentoring of others
* Strong skills in written communication and report writing
* Self-motivated – demonstrate high levels of initiative and work remotely (from other LSU’s and the PLF Brisbane office) as well as plan and manage their work to fit both LSU and Supply priorities.

Deliverables
* Keeping data management systems accurate and up to date
* Collating and uploading specific program data
* Working with various program staff to ensure all relevant information is included
