Opportunity Overview:

We have a new opening for a new Data Programmer to join our Information Technology Department!  This Data Programmer works closely with teams within IT to provide excellent reporting, ETLs and other data needs.  Storytelling through data analysis enables team members to discover valuable insights hidden in data. The ETLs and data visualizations created will inspire projects and enable everyone at every level of the ministry to make confident business decisions.  If you are looking for a career with purpose, apply now!

Position Overview:

• Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
• Designs, builds and maintains data ETL processes for internal ministry systems.
• Builds and maintains the ministry’s internal data warehouses.
• Works with the Data Enablement team to implement a data and reporting architecture that meets the ministry’s needs.
• Provides code that is top quality, tested and accomplishes business requirements.
• Protects ministry data in accordance with ministry mandates and policies.
• Works with Data Enablement team to understand data and reporting needs across the ministry
• Serves as backup for ticketing and server administration. 
• Builds visualizations within current reporting tools and stay on top of data industry trends and tools.
• Cultivates and disseminates knowledge of application development best practices
