The Program
The Laos Australia Institute provides the Human Resource Development framework for the delivery of Australian Government scholarships, including Australia Awards Scholarships and Laos Australia National Scholarships. The program supports HRD policies, planning and implementation for the Government of Laos; through work with two key counterpart organisations, the Ministry of Education and Sports and Ministry of Home Affairs. The program provides a range of short and long courses to those ministries, alumni (particularly focused on women’s leadership), people living with disability and those working in the disability sector.
The Position

The Alumni Database is an essential tool for alumni engagement – providing LAI with access to over 1800 Australia Awards Alumni. The primary role of the database consultant will be to clean the database and then transpose it from Google Form to Microsoft Forms. By end of contract, the database should provide clear and accurate information about Laos Australia Alumni.
The Person
The ideal candidate has relevant tertiary qualifications in IT or information management. You will have demonstrated experience in working with databases as well as being fluent in Excel, Google Forms and Microsoft Forms.
Along with effective interpersonal and communication skills, you will display self-motivation and the ability to work independently on a time deadline. Together with your good English proficiency (written and spoken), your ability to maintain a high standard of work and attention to detail, you will display strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
