Donor Campaigns Support Officers (Telefundraisers) – Nationals Only

The Role

S/He will be part of the Business Development Team, within the Individual Giving sub-team that will be

responsible for, and will significantly contribute to, the Save the Children Philippines business development strategy as well as in achieving the objectives of the strategy. The DCSO will be part of the donor acquisition and retention team of Save the Children in increasing its supporters.

The DCSO, is a key role in strengthening and growing the individual donor base of SCP. S/He will support initiatives that will work to ensure Save the Children, is the charity of choice where individual giving is concerned. S/He will also be responsible for contacting leads, prospects, donors to solicit donations to ensure the continuous development of the donor base, increasing donations and retention. S/He is will work with others in the team to promote and increase SCP’s brand and credibility so that it becomes the general public’s TOP of MIND and have increase its market share.

The primary purpose of this position is to make outbound calls as part of SCP’s Tele-Fundraising Campaign. The person will be at the forefront of the campaign that aims to solicit funds to support children’s learning.

The DCSO will be responsible for achieving contact, conversion and financial targets on a daily weekly and monthly basis.

The DCSO will deliver on revenue and donor goals through telephone calls to contacting leads, prospects, donors. He/she will:

  • PRIORITY: be responsible for outbound calls to solicit donations and reach targets

  • Routinely report on progress and provide data about those contacted

  • oversee gathering, consolidation and analysis of data pertaining to prospects, donors, donations

  • Maintain up-to-date records of on-going call-outs and results

  • Provide input and feedback on challenges, possible improvements on the campaign

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree or experience [ 1 – 2 years at least] in Sales or TeleMarketing
  • Some knowledge of current theories and practices in sales, marketing and communications
  • Possess positive attitude with an entrepreneurial drive to achieve success
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to negotiate challenging situations to achieve goals & deadlines
  • Excellent oral & writing skills, English and Filipino
  • Goal oriented with the ability to solve problems & take initiative
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environment
  • Knowledge in using Microsoft Office applications
  • Exhibits and interest and / or commitment to Save the Children’s mission and values
  • Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality, age sensitivity and fully comply with Save the
  • Children’s Child Protection Policy and Guidelines
  • Subject to police reference check (child protection requirement)

Contract length: Fixed Term position based in National Capital Region
