- Coordinate ESL class schedule with the sites; monitor a regular class rotation and programmatic logistics as scheduled intakes, testing, and case closure
- Provide any needed ESL teacher trainings on cultural competency and the curriculum
- Conduct ESL student intakes; create goals and service plans for each client enrolled in RSS Education Services; assign students to a classroom site
- Ensure teachers log student attendance and complete the student evaluation form at least one time per class rotation
- Ensure students are BEST tested once they have completed 40 hours of ESL instruction
- Collaborate with community organizations to establish ESL referrals for students completing RST ESL classes
- Maintain case files for each student/client enrolled; complete all intake paperwork and the student’s activity log
- Conduct case closure and refer student/client to an external ESL provider
- Enter all new client/students into the Refugee Data Center and Refugee Management System
- Report to the RSS Programs Supervisor on all programmatic activities
- Represent the agency by attending meetings, conducting presentations, and managing public relations duties
- Maintain a good working relationship with other service providers and community partners in the area

· Bachelor’s degree preferred. Certification in teaching ESL required or experience teaching ESL required
· Related experience in education field desired
· Experience working with diverse populations desired
· Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
· Must be flexible, capable of working independently under pressure with deadlines and managing multiple priorities
· Computer proficient including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
· Must have reliable transportation and maintain valid driver’s license and insurance coverage for vehicle
