This position supports Emergency Medical Response (EMR) warehouse functions by ensuring inventory integrity, accurately packing deployment modules according to a pre-determined plan, adhering to specific Bills of Material for pre-defined assembled, ensuring packing efficiencies to deployment requirements, and supporting disaster response initiatives for quick and accurate deployments.
This role provides logistical support to the Projects department, with a primary focus on the EMR Program, ensuring adherence to all implemented inventory control policies and systems. This position supports non-EMR Projects department work as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
- Ensures accuracy of inventory and inventory transactions during all facets of operations including receiving, put away, picking, packing, and staging of durables, kits, and consumables.
- Completes the execution of module and pallet builds per the weekly plan provided by the International Health Unit (IHU).
- Supports the maintenance of items/kits and manages expiration dates and Country of Origin requirements for medical durables and consumables.
- Supports the execution of physical changes in the warehouse to meet the systematic plan changes/repacks requested by the IHU.
- Supports random cycle counts and the annual physical inventory process to help insure a high level of EMR inventory integrity.
- Supports the development of an Operations Manual for each EMR deployment configuration.
- Assists with efficiently packing assemblies to meet EMR deployment requirements.
- Provides any required logistical assistance to support the Projects departments’ timely response to a domestic or international crisis.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Working knowledge of forklift and other warehouse equipment operation
- General Knowledge of Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- General Knowledge of inventory management processes
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to take and give verbal and written directions and explanations
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three (3) to five (5) years’ related work experience; or equivalent combination of experience and education required. Previous experience operating a forklift and/or working with warehouse or inventory management systems is preferred.
