- Coordinates and conduct presentations/outreach efforts to the local employer community regarding the benefits of hiring refugees and other displaced individuals with the objective to develop work opportunities for clients
- Serve as the main point of contact for refugee employers
- Build and coordinate an employer pool that provides appropriate jobs to newly arrived refugee and other immigrant populations with varying skillsets and professional backgrounds
- Ensure area employers are aware of RST’s services through cold calling, organizing meetings, conducting presentations, and attending appropriate and properly vetted networking events
- Coordinate and supervise daily employment case manager activities such as client transportation to job interviews, pre-hire paperwork completion, post-placement follow up, and job readiness training/orientation through calendaring and team meetings
- Provide employment case managers with the name and contact information of new job placement opportunities; coordinate regular meetings to inform Employment Case Managers on existing and new job opportunities
- Support employment case managers to make calls to existing employers regarding openings; establish metrics for cold calling
- Ensure employment case managers enter data into the Refugee Data Center regarding job placement activities
- Assist the RSS Supervisor with job placement report data and other program activities for federal and state funding sources
- Participate on bi-weekly RST wide network calls regarding employment and job placement services
- Ensure Matching Grant orientation provision, enrollment, and termination by the Employment Case Managers; coordinate with employment case managers to ensure timely submission of MG 120 and 180 day job placement reports
- Coordinate and organize job readiness classes; coordinate interpreters for the job readiness classes as needed
