Position Summary
Tomorrow’s Youth Organization is embarking on a new chapter and is looking for an Executive
Director who can provide leadership, a clear vision, and strategic direction for the organization.
The Executive Director will develop strategies to diversify and increase fundraising sources,
advocate for the needs of Palestinian refugees, and develop and monitor education and mental
health programs in Nablus, Palestine. The Executive Director will ensure effective
implementation of the strategy, drive implementation, and report on results and impact.

Essential Duties
Leadership
● Provides a clear vision and direction for TYO
● Develops and manages a high performing team
● Creates a collaborative culture
● Helps create a Board of Directors with guidance from the Founder and maintains
communication with the Board
Strategy
● Uses strong analytical skills to develop and implement a clear short-term and long-term
strategic plan that supports the mission and goals of TYO
● Establishes TYO as a thought leader in psychosocial development
● Articulates TYO’s strategy to staff

Program Operations
● Manages implementation of TYO programs
● Establishes administrative policies and procedures for the day-to-day operations of TYO
● Develops evaluation strategies and adjustment of programs, processes, and structures
based on community, donor and TYO needs
Financial Management & Fundraising
● Responsible for the fiscal integrity of TYO including finances, annual budgets, and
proper resource allocation
● Ensures optimal financial performance and manages TYO’s resources within budget
guidelines
● Creates and implements a fundraising strategy to diversify sources of funding
● Establishes strategies to approach funders and submit donor proposals

Stakeholder Relationships & Partnerships
● Builds relationships with key stakeholders in Palestine and internationally
● Develop collaborative projects and partnerships with local community organizations and
international non-profits
Advocacy
● Promotes recognition of Tomorrow’s Youth Organization locally and internationally
● Presents TYO and its programs and services to key stakeholders and the general public
● Raises awareness of major education and mental health issues in Palestine

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
● Bachelor’s degree
● High integrity leadership and strong work ethic
● Ten or more years senior nonprofit management experience
● Experience and skill working with refugees and disadvantaged communities
● Demonstrated ability building and leading teams from diverse backgrounds
● High level strategic thinking and planning. Ability to effectively communicate the
organization’s strategic future to the staff, board, volunteers and donors
● Strong financial management skills, including budget preparation, analysis, decision
making and reporting
● Experience successfully generating new funding streams
● Active fundraising experience. Excellent donor relations skills and understanding of the
nonprofit donor community
● Solid organizational abilities, including planning, delegating, and program development
● Strong written and oral communication skills
● Strong public speaking ability
● Ability to take a hands-on role with regards to program execution and administrative
issues
● Fluency in English required. Working proficiency in Arabic preferred.
