The Opportunity
Save the Children International has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as the– Financial Accountant – Treasury and Member Reporting in London Save the Children office.
Role Purpose:
The role holder is responsible for supporting the Treasury back office team to ensure that funds are requested and received from Save the Children members accurately and within required timescales. This role is critical to ensuring funds are available to country offices for program work.
They will also play a key role in assisting the wider Treasury team in managing the 4 key Treasury risks; Liquidity, Interest, FX and Compliance.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
· Experience of working at a similar level within a complex organisation.
· the ability to prioritise an often heavy workload
· Excellent business partnering, negotiating and relationship building skills with a strong customer focus
· The ability to liaise with a wide range of colleagues at all levels and across different cultures and to act with credibility, tact and diplomacy
· Ability to adapt and adjust working style according to changing business needs in a dynamic environment

· excellent analytical skills with an exceptional eye for detail
· solid excel skills
· Commitment to Save the Children values
· Knowledge of UK SORP (Statement of Recommended Practice for Charity Accounting and Reporting) and UK/International GAAP and legal requirements would be desirable
We can offer circa £47,000 per annum (If based in UK) with an option of flexible working hours. If the role is based outside of the UK, National T&C (including pay) will apply.
This role can be based in (Location) or any existing Save the Children office location on approval, provided the successful candidate has proof of eligibility to work from the preferred location.
