The roles and responsibilities of the Coursera Finance team include accounting, financial reporting, analysis, planning, budgeting, and compliance. Problem solvers at heart, this team works to fuel Coursera’s growth by developing creative solutions in response to accounting and finance challenges.
At Coursera, our Finance team supports our internal partners to maximize shareholder value. We are looking for a talented and innovative finance manager to join our team. The India FP&A manager will support our India General Manager and organization and collaborate with our global finance team in the US. You will manage successful budgeting and forecasting processes for the region, deliver strategic and valuable insights, and help scale our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with India team stakeholders to define, track, analyze and report on key metrics. Synthesize insights to help team drive improvements and facilitate the delivery and acceleration of growth objectives
- Support growth initiatives and analyze investments to support good decision making. Build and manage scalable financial models, such as enterprise resource planning, LTV/CAC, marketing planning, and Unit economics to support planning and strategic decisions
- Consolidate India’s financial reporting. Help India management team to budget, forecast and track their financial and operating plans
- Support India’s team in tracking Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and ongoing performance of operating plans
- Support global finance on company planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting and accounting in the monthly financial close process
- Be the liaison and expert of any India finance related matters
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a finance related field 8+ years in financial planning; experience in enterprise SaaS technology and/or consumer internet Advanced Excel & business modeling skills required
- Ability to handle large volumes of data, drive insights through analysis, and communicating to business partners
- Experience with multi national companies and working with global organizations and finance teams
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a matrix organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with IBM analytics, salesforce, looker is a plus
- Experience supporting Sales (consumer or Saas/Enterprise) and/or Marketing organizations is a plus
- Deep business acumen, strategic thinker, and ability to master our business model.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Intellectual curiosity and agility to navigate ambiguous circumstances
- Desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced organization and prioritize evolving, concurrent deliverables.
