Foreign Service Limited Position Opportunity:Health Development Officer, Backstop 50, FSL-0685-02

In cooperation with the SDI Division Chief, the Health Development Officer (Senior FP/RH TechnicalAdvisor) oversees activities in the population, family planning, and reproductive health sector of USAIDtargeted for Service Delivery. The Officer applies a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitativemethods for the assessment and improvement of Agency familyplanning/reproductive health (FP/RH)programs. The Officer works with representatives of other USG agencies, international organizations,and NGOs to ensure that USAID public health and FP/RH policies are interpreted and appliedconsistently, that programs/projects are developed and implemented coherently, and that strategies,programs, and projects that prove successful are shared and replicated when appropriate. Additionally,the incumbent may serve as a Contract/Agreement Officer’s Representative (COR/AOR). The Officermay provide onsite management, technical guidance, review ofwork submitted, and leadership toinstitutional contract staff, fellows or interns within the Division.
