Experience / Training

 

Training:

• Master or Bachelor’s degree in agronomy or socio-economic, rural development, international development or related studies. Specialization in disaster risk management is a plus

• Advanced FSL needs assessments and data analysis

• Advanced M&E tools and methodologies

• Protection and gender mainstreaming in project formulation, implementation and monitoring

• Cash Based Interventions

• Advanced knowledge of FSL concepts, programs and programming

• Expertise in Monitoring, Evaluation and Knowledge management: FSL M&E tools and methodologies / FSL indicators

• Context and risk analysis

• Training and coaching in the FSL sector

• Desirable knowledge of the following donors’ rules and procedures: USAID/OFDA, GFFO, WFP, UNICEF, ECHO, CIAA, GAC, AECID, SIDA, FCDO.

Previous experience (years):

• At least 2-3 years’ experience working in an INGO occupying senior management positions and ideally in a similar role in the FSL sector; candidates with experience in cash-based interventions and DRM projects (using PVCA or PLA methodologies) will be given priority.

• Previous experience working with community- based projects

• Experience working with and alongside governmental structures and local/international partners

• Previous experience working with multi-sector projects (livelihoods, WASH, nutrition…)

• Previous experience working with remote communities in volatile context

• Experience working with FSL in emergency and early recovery

• Work under pressure with very tight deadlines

• Languages: English: COMPULSORY – Arabic: a plus

• IT systems: Excellent domain of Microsoft Office

• STATA or SPSS: a plus

• GIS and ODK: a plus

• Mobility (national/ international) Required

 

Salary

 

Our remuneration package:

We offer immediate incorporation to a dynamic international network with the following remuneration package:

• Formal work contract: 12 months

• Base: Khartoum

• Compensation packaged: from 22.200€ to 28.800€ gross/year divided in 12 payments and based on experience y context. In addition, once the expatriate is in the mission, she/he will received perdiem and living cost according Sudan mission’s standards

In addition:

• Guest House or similar accommodation covered by the organization

• Travel costs to and from the mission.

• Expat Health, repatriation, travel and life insurance covered by the organization

• Extra per month and per child (Under 18 years old): from 100€ to 225€ monthly (according to standard list of Action Against Hunger -Spain).

• Break: additional rest period, including travel cost to a reference area and economic help of 215€.

• 25 working days of paid leave per year.
