Knowledge and Experience
- BA/S or equivalent in economics, agri-business, rural development and a relevant field; an advanced degree is preferred
- 5-7 years agriculture/livelihoods program implementation and management experience using market-based approaches
- Demonstrated experience in managing and implementing market systems development programming
- Experience working in consortiums and coordinating and leading partners and stakeholders
- Experience managing and empowering teams in Market Systems Development with demonstrated evidence of continued learning and adaptation
- Strong communication, writing and report development skills
- Must be able to work independently while being a strong team player
- Experience working effectively with local and national governments and local partnering structures
- Advanced spoken and written French is required, with English preferred to intermediate level
