Full Professor or Associate Professor (with tenure)


Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) invites applications for a tenured position in international finance and international macroeconomics to begin July 2020 (or as soon thereafter as possible). The position may be at the rank of either tenured Full Professor or tenured Associate Professor. A joint appointment in the Department of Economics is a possibility. Applicants should be qualified to teach some combination of courses on international finance, international economics and macroeconomics. Candidates will be expected to sustain an active research and publication agenda and to contribute to teaching and intellectual leadership in SIPA’s graduate programs

Minimum Degree Required

Ph.D. in Economics

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must have a distinguished publication record

Preferred Qualifications

Related experience in government service or policy analysis organizations is a plus.
