ipcenter.at is a private vocational education provider from Vienna with 20 years of experience. For a planned GIZ-funded skills development project in Jordan (81271719), we are currently looking for an international expert to fulfill the team leader position (2021-2023).
The project is about developing and implementing a Labour Market Monitoring and Information System for the local labour market authorities, with a focus on the healthcare labour market.
Team Leader tasks:
Overall responsibility for the advisory packages of the contractor
• Support in arranging the coordination meetings for nursing sector governing bodies
• Ensuring the coherence and complementarity of the contractor’s services with other
services delivered by the project at local and national level
• Taking cross-cutting themes into consideration (e.g., gender equality)
• Development and professional maintenance of the professional network
• Human resources management, in particular planning and controlling of assignments and
supervision of local and international short- and long-term experts
• Ensuring impact monitoring/ Wirkungsmonitoring
• Regular and timely reporting
• Responsibility for monitoring the use of funds and financial planning in consultation with
the GIZ’s AV or the project manager appointed by him/her
• Supporting the AV in updating and/or adapting the project design, in evaluations and in
preparing a follow-on phase
Team leader qualifications:
Education/training: University degree (Master’s or equivalent) in labour market or
health economics or economics or social sciences
• Languages: Knowledge of English, C1 in the Common European Framework of
Reference for Languages
• General professional experience: 10 years of professional experience in the
labour market sector
• Specific professional experience: 5 years of professional experience inworking in
a multi-stakeholder-setting
• Leadership/management experience: 6 years of management/leadership
experience as team leader in projects or as manager in companies/institutions
• Regional experience: 2 years’ experience in projects in the MENA region
• Development cooperation (DC) experience: 5 years of experience working on DC
projects
• Other: Experience with creating and demand-driven amendment and
management of an open pool of international and national experts in a project
