Salary: £42,217 per annum
Main Responsibilities
For more than 80 years Brooke has worked to improve the welfare of working horses, donkeys and mules in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East, where these animals are a critical component of sustainable household livelihood strategies. We advocate and campaign to improve the lives of working livestock where we see the gravest issues, always using evidence to make our case. We raise their visibility at every level, from national government to UN agencies. We work in partnership, we mobilise, we lobby and we learn from others to bring about long term change, which you can read more about here.

Skills and Experience required
The ideal person will understand the United Nations systems and the process of policy amendment and policy change at global and institutional level. They will also have strong experience of policy mapping, effectively using a range of tools to refine asks and influence policy at local and global level. They will be someone who will communicate effectively at all levels and has concrete examples of policy influence at global level.
