Position description
· Bachelor’s degree; Major in English, Art History, Architecture, International Relations, History, or other relevant area preferred
· 3–4 years of experience in institutional (government, foundation, and/or corporate) fundraising, grant writing, and prospect research
Skills
· Exceptional oral and written communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well with colleagues at all organizational levels
· Experience in researching and preparing successful proposals for foundations, corporate, and particularly government funders
· Highly organized and detail oriented, with a demonstrated ability to manage and track multiple priorities and projects, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to compile, analyze, and report information succinctly
· Excellent computer skills including proficiencies in Microsoft Office Suite; general database knowledge required, familiarity with Raisers Edge a plus
