Grants and MEAL Manager – Syria, Damascus

 

Experience / Training

 

  • University level degree, preferably a Master degree in project management or political studies
  • Experience in grants management and knowledge of procedures of main donor agencies: ECHO, European Union, OFDA, DFID, AFD, UN Agencies or others
  • Strong reporting skills
  • Experience in MEAL for at least one year
  • Good knowledge on data collection and treatment
  • Good knowledge of sampling methods and analysis processes
  • Proficient user of MS Office pack. Power Bi (or similar software) and GIS software will be positively considered
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively on a team and under pressure
  • Autonomy, flexibility and rigor
  • Developed skills for organization, multitasking and tasks prioritization
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English. Preferably competent user of French spoken and written
  • Experience in the Middle East and/or knowledge of Arabic would be an asset
  • Management experience woud be an asset
  • Commitment and good sense of humor

 

Salary

 

Duration: 7 months, renewable, depending on the funding – starting May 2021

Salaried contract, gross monthly salary from €1 900 to €2 600 depending on experience, monthly per diem USD 850, medical coverage of 100% + repatriation insurance + provident fund, accommodation, international and local transportation as part of the mission, break every 3 months. Non family duty station.
