Health Development Officer

The Health Development Officer will serve in the Bureau for Global Health, Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition Office (GH/MCHN). As a senior member of the GH/MCHN Front Office, this position will report to and receive budget, program and administrative direction from the Deputy Director of the MCHN Office, coordinating across MCHN and with other offices in the Bureau on budget and program reporting formulation. MCHN helps Missions and other stakeholders incorporate innovations, best practices, and lessons learned to advance the goals of the Agency’s public health and maternal and child health, and nutrition goals, including Ending Preventable Child and Maternal Deaths (EPCMD), the President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI) and the rollout of COVID-19 vaccinations.
