We are hiring a new HRIS Support Specialist to join our growing Human Resources department! In this role, you will support and complete an extensive and complex range of human resources systems analysis and configurations within our new HR system PeopleSoft. Also, a strong understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions, and processes, and experience with database tools is needed. You will be given the opportunity to:

  • Analyze business process problems and system needs to be solved within PeopleSoft.
  • Recommend and implement process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, configuration changes, and/or major variations from established configuration.
  • Collaborate with IT and relevant subject matter experts to identify issues and design and implement system solutions that are cost effective and meet business requirements.
  • Provide overall project management as needed for cross-functional teams. Work with HR functional leads and IT to create and update road maps.
  • Work closely with the HR Assistant Director to perform audit reviews, mass upload changes, and additional systems support as needed.
  • Provide primary support for HRIS including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HRIS problems and unexpected results or process flaws.
  • Perform scheduled activities and recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Assist with HR Helpdesk administration. Review, solve, and/or assign submitted cases to appropriate functional HR team member. 
  • Manage the review, project planning, testing, and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix.
  • Maintain HRIS system tables. Document process and results.
  • Assist in the development of end-user procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
  • Assist learning & development team with training end-users on new processes and functionality. Assist new users as needed.
  • Maintain awareness of current trends in HRIS with a focus on PeopleSoft product and service updates, delivery, and support. Apply key technologies and examine trends in information systems training, materials, and techniques.
  • Continuously increase both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge (PeopleSoft) through classes, reading, and CBTs. Participate in user group meetings/conferences.
