The Role
In this role, you will take the lead for ensuring coherence in the support OGB provides across different Divisions (particularly Impact; International Operations and Supporter Engagement); in support of Oxfam’s humanitarian work globally; being the key Oxfam GB humanitarian contact point for the Global Humanitarian Team and countries during major crises; representing OGB in the UK Humanitarian sector and with donors and other supporters channeling resources to emergency response.

- Significant experience of leadership of complex emergency responses.
- Experience and knowledge international humanitarian policy and practice issues and the humanitarian architecture sufficient to command the respect of others in the sector
- Experience and understanding of the priorities and practices of a range of donors supporting humanitarian action internationally
- Commitment to and experience of supporting locally led humanitarian action
- Excellent interpersonal, diplomacy, representational and communication skills.
- Experience managing performance of others and helping people to develop, grow and achieve their potential.
- Good understanding. commitment and ideally experience embedding and continuously learning to embed a decolonial, safe, anti-racist, intersectional feminist and partner led approach in your work.
