JOB CONTEXT :
HI will lead an Inclusive Education project in the part of a consortium. This project is testing Inclusive Education models for improving Reading Skills for children with disabilities from Grades 1 – 3, with the Nepal Government in 16 District, with the aim of scaling it up for the National Early Grade Reading Programme of the Nepal Government.
YOUR MISSION:
Under the line management of the Operations Manager, as Inclusive Education Project Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact with the Donor of this project. You will be responsible for the overall implementation of this Inclusive Education project, including financial and operational management.
In this framework, your main responsibilities will be:

Project Planning, Implementation and Monitoring

Technical Expertise to the Project: direct the technical framework of the project; ensure that the project’s activities implemented comply with HI technical norms and standards; run technical trainings/orientations; are in charge of the technical quality and relevance of project activities implemented within your scope of expertise….

Project Finance & Logistics Management

Partnership Management (Consortium and Local implementing): you are responsible for the overall management of the consortium partner

Human Resource Team Management

External coordination/Representation

Strategy and Project Development
YOUR PROFILE :
-
You hold a Master’s degree in Education. Studies in Inclusive Education would be a strong asset
-
You demonstrate a solid experience in Inclusive Education as a project manager but also as a technical advisor

You are used to manage projects with large magnitude in scope, funding and staffing
-
You know to coordinate and collaborate in a consortium
-
A first experience of work in Nepal or South Asia would be an asset
-
You are fluent in English
