The purpose of the assignment is to develop an e-learning course that increases knowledge and awareness of human rights and the SDGs in Botswana, the role of key stakeholders (including the United Nations, Government, the private sector and civil society), the institutional arrangements and key issues. The intention is that by increasing knowledge and awareness and identifying synergies between human rights and the SDGs and implementation roles and responsibilities, achievement of human rights and SDG targets will increase and institutional arrangements and processes may be strengthened. The training will be in the English language and specific to the local context in Botswana while locating Botswana in the broader regional and global contexts.
To this end, UNDP seeks to engage a consultant to undertake the development of a
an online training curriculum (in English) for Human Rights and SDGs in Botswana, based on a training needs assessment, in close consultation with the Project Steering Committee
