In regard to Nepal, there is the UN Framework for Responding to the Socio-Economic Impacts of COVID-19. It is a roadmap designed for the UN approach to socio-economic response and recovery over the next 12-18 months, concurrent to and beyond health and emergency
support; and to serve as an organizing basis for UNCT, under UNRC leadership and with UNDP as technical lead. The Global Socio-Economic Response Framework has five Pillars out of which UNICEF leads the pillar 2 PROTECTING PEOPLE – Social protection and basic services.
