CEPI
The mission of CEPI, the European Association of Real Estate Professions, is to support the European real estate market and cross-border transactions by enhancing and strengthening the work and activities of real estate professionals. We represent twenty-seven national professional organisations of estate agents and property managers based in tewnty EU and EFTA countries. Their individual members are active in all sectors of the residential real estate market on a daily basis involving both sales transactions and long-term management.
ACTIVITIES
Representation of interests of the European real estate sector both to European and national authorities in order to promote real estate transactions, facilitate cross-border transactions and guarantee real estate professionals enhanced legal security.
Education for future real estate professionals, as well as the ongoing education of professionals by means of a common European education platform (Eureduc).
Increased internal and external communication by means of developing publications and taking an active part in international real estate events.
Setting up research projects related to real estate markets and services in order to complete the information available and to keep the debate between the stakeholders alive.
Developing services of direct interest to our approximately 300,000 affiliated professionals: an information portal on legislation and market data, practical guides for professionals, etc.
INTERNS
The internship at CEPI will include several tasks, from administration and policy, to communication and database management.
In particular, CEPI offers opportunities for interns who are interested in gaining experience in one or more of the activity strands as listed above. Interns should master the English language as this is the working language of the association. Knowledge of other languages is not required, but it will be considered an asset.
The intern will also be involved in the organisation of CEPI events and conferences in Brussels and abroad as well as in daily administration.
DURATION
Preferably the internship should cover a period of 3-6 months, also depending on the exact assignment to be delivered.
INTERNSHIP COACHING
CEPI will ensure an internship coach for the duration of the assignment. This coach will also be the immediate port of call for the representative of the educational establishment of the intern.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Each internship should be complete in the framework of an Erasmus agreement.
Interest in European affairs and preferably basic knowledge of the EU decision-making environment.
Professionalism and willingness to learn.
Good level of both spoken and written English, other languages are not required but would be considered as an asset
