IT Transformation Project Manager

About your role:
A member of the Global IT and Operations team, your main objective will be to drive strategic projects & outcomes, working closely with the Enterprise Architect and leaders across different functions / geographies in implementing business-focused initiatives of varying size and complexity.
You will need to collaborate with WRI’s IT and Operations teams across the international locations in enabling business goals and playing the roles of Project Manager, Change Manager, Delivery Manager, etc., as required for the initiatives.
How you day will unfold:
• Assist WRI Enterprise Architect, IT leadership, and business leadership in developing the company’s overall IT transformation strategy and roadmap.
• Assist in identifying, cataloging, and reviewing the existing internal capabilities, value streams, information assets, and business processes.
• Assist in the development of new fit-for-purpose digital solutions to improve operational
efficiency and service level.
• Manage implementation of in-house business solutions and digital service capabilities to
help the organization optimize efficiency, value, and impact.
• Manage planning, monitoring, and delivery including budget, resources, and timelines of
transformation and/or solution development projects.
• Create project case studies and maintain complete project documentation as per transformation project guidelines.
• Identify stakeholders and manage appropriate communication and feedback loops with
them.
• Develop and analyze success measures, KPIs, training requirements, organizational
readiness, and long-term sustainability needs of transformation projects.
• Drive day-to-day change management activities while providing the appropriate levels of
support and coaching for staff members.
• Build and maintain effective partnerships with key cross-functional team leaders and
members as well as vendors and external partners.
Skills & Experience we seek:
• Understanding of various project management methodologies and change management
practices, and ability to adapt and use the appropriate methods during various phases of the
project lifecycle.
• Good understanding of IT, Operations, HR, and Finance functional processes and
transformations in general.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation and storytelling.
• Ability to work and collaborate with a multitude of different people, nationalities, and
cultures across the globe.
• Good judgment, tact, decision-making ability, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including vendor management, cross-functional
team management, and communication with senior leadership.
• Adaptability and flexibility to engage with staff and stakeholders from multiple time zones.
• 10+ years of IT project management experience with 5+ years of managing IT transformation
projects.
• Extensive experience in ERP implementation and establishing data management practices,
with sound understanding of aligning the various tools and technologies within the
enterprise technology environment.
• Awareness / experience of leveraging technology as enablers of organizational strategy.
• Professional degree in business management or information technology.
• Certification in Project Management (PRINCE II, PMP, Scaled Agile, Scrum, etc.) and/or
Change Management (Prosci, APMG Change Management Practitioner, etc.)
Duration: 2 Months ( extendable for 1 to 2 years based on performance and project requirements)
