Children’s & Youth Worker

Hollywood Christian Life Centre (HCLC) is a lively, friendly,
multi-generational, local church in South Birmingham. We are committed to
helping people know and follow Jesus, and this role is about helping us make
the most of our opportunities.

We are looking for the right person to lead our children’s
and youth ministry in alignment with our vision and values to reach the lost
and make disciples.

We have great relationships with the local schools and the
wider community and you will have a huge role to play in these places.

We have great teams of volunteers, and a supportive Senior
Leadership team. This role is not about doing it all, but setting the pace and
the energy, bringing the creative leadership to reaching children and young
people, and being at the forefront of discipling the next generation.

 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a leader who is:

• Passionate about seeing children
& young people know and follow Jesus

• Able to work with teams of
volunteers

• Relational and approachable

• Organised and able to lead
programmes and events

• Missional and outward looking

• Teachable and wanting to grow
spiritually

• Experienced in children’s and youth
ministry (could include as a volunteer)

 

This role might suit somebody looking
for their first role in church leadership.
