Trinity County Resource Conservation District is accepting applications for the position of Conservation Tech II, Fuels Program. This is a full-time, seasonal position with pay of $21 – $22 per hour, DOE. Duties include brush clearing, cutting, dragging, piling, and debris removal to support fuel reduction and forest health projects. Must be able to perform physical labor in rugged terrain and in all weather conditions, be able to lift and carry 50 pounds or more, and have a basic knowledge of chainsaw and chipper operation or a willingness to learn. The position offers flexible scheduling, paid leave, medical benefits, and retirement options.
