Introduction
This consultancy assignment is structured into two (2) Lots to reflect the funding conditions associated with supporting Dominica’s Third Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC 3.0) under the Climate Promise initiative.
The separation into Lots is based on the distinction between:
Lot 1 – Core Technical Assessments: Upstream technical and sectoral analyses required to inform national ambition and policy options for the development of NDC 3.0.
Lot 2 – Article 6 Assessments, Stakeholder Engagement, and Knowledge Management Activities: Activities supporting Article 6 readiness and strategic options for participation in carbon markets under the Paris Agreement, as well as stakeholder engagement, stakeholder validation, knowledge management, communications, and capacity strengthening related to the NDC process. The stakeholder validation and capacity strengthening components will incorporate and build upon the analytical outputs generated under Lot 1.
All work shall reflect Dominica’s national context and realities and incorporate feedback obtained from national stakeholders, as appropriate to the scope of each Lot.
