Euroheat & Power, the international association for district energy, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic trainee to join our team in Brussels. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Events & Membership Director, actively participating in projects that promote sustainable energy solutions across Europe.

Key tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Support the organisation and logistics of the events.
  • Assist in the preparation of promotional materials. 
  • Support the membership onboarding process.
  • Maintain the membership database and ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist in responding to member enquiries.
  • Provide general administrative support for a variety of tasks.

Requirements and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, events, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in event coordination, membership, or administrative roles is an advantage.
  • An interest in working in the energy sector or EU associations. 
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and oral). Proficiency in additional EU languages is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with CRM software or willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrate ownership of assigned responsibilities and commitment to learning.
  • Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
  • Occasional travel for events, when necessary.
  • You must be eligible to work in Belgium (EU citizen) and have completed your studies.
