Step into the opportunity:
As the Knowledge Sharing Advisor, you will be responsible for:
Providing advice and supporting the Regional Director to articulate strategic positioning outcomes at the regional level, and strategies to contribute to corporate-level positioning outcomes.
Monitoring program plans and approaches for knowledge sharing to identify synergies across the region towards more impact and effectiveness.
Supporting and contributing to various activities for the implementation of knowledge sharing and communications strategies aligned with Strategy 2030.
Identifying and recommending opportunities to enhance visibility, uptake and influence of IDRC-supported research, and supporting the Regional Director in reviewing and prioritizing catalytic proposals aligned with knowledge sharing and strategic positioning objectives.

You Have:
A master’s degree in the social sciences, communications, or journalism with relevant experience in international development research, knowledge translation and / or communications.
Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) and fluency in Spanish. Proficiency in French is considered an asset.
A minimum of five (5) years of recent and relevant experience in the field of knowledge sharing, communications, international development and/or research management.
An in-depth understanding of knowledge translation for uptake and use.
An enhanced knowledge of communications and public relations.

Hybrid Mode: The Centre provides a hybrid work environment, and your presence at the office is governed by the teleworking policy.
