As an Investigator and Integrity Advisor, you will play a crucial role in managing and investigating complaints related to corrupt conduct, reportable misconduct, and criminal activities within our organisation. You will work closely with the Manager Ethics and Workplace Relations, providing subject matter expertise and conducting thorough investigations in alignment with established policies, legislation, and corporate requirements.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage concurrent complex, sensitive investigations from initiation to conclusion, adhering to investigation methodologies and legislative requirements.
  • Evaluate, manage, and discharge the organisation’s responsibilities concerning public interest disclosures, ensuring legislative compliance.
  • Provide expert advice and high-level investigation services on allegations of corrupt conduct, reportable misconduct, and criminal behaviour.
  • Develop, review, and promulgate policies and guidelines to minimise the risk of fraud, unethical conduct, and corruption.
  • Lead continuous evaluation and improvement of investigation policies, procedures, and systems across the organisation.
  • Deliver educational presentations to employees on relevant legislation, case law, and council policy requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies, to ensure effective investigation outcomes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Extensive demonstrated experience in gathering, analysing evidence, and devising recommendations.
  • Qualifications in a discipline related to integrity, ethics, fraud, or forensics, or equivalent.
