The successful candidate will engage in the development of “AI-driven materials research methods” that integrate materials data with cutting-edge AI technologies, utilizing approaches such as Bayesian optimization, large language models (LLMs), and AI agents, as well as in applied research toward autonomous materials exploration (self-driving laboratory) including robotic experiments.
Qualification
- Applicants must hold a doctoral degree, or be expected to obtain one by the time of appointment.
- Strong programming skills (e.g., Python).
- Ability to communicate, read, and write in English for research purposes.
- Strong motivation to engage in AI-driven materials research methods and robot-assisted materials development.
- Strong motivation to utilize large language models (LLMs) and AI agents.
