About the Position

IID is seeking qualified and motivated MHPSS Facilitators – Baaj (Pending Donor Approval) to support the delivery of psychosocial support services at the community level. The role focuses on facilitating group sessions, awareness activities, and supporting individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the MHPSS Technical Specialist (Line Manager) and provide regular updates on activities and progress
  • Deliver MHPSS group sessions (life skills, emotional support, awareness sessions)
  • Facilitate structured psychosocial activities for different target groups
  • Support the identification of vulnerable individuals and refer cases to Case Managers
  • Conduct outreach and awareness sessions within the community
  • Assist in organizing community activities and engagement sessions
  • Provide basic psychosocial support under supervision
  • Maintain attendance records and activity reports
  • Support data collection and reporting in coordination with the M&E team
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for participants
  • Follow safeguarding and PSEA standards in all activities
  • Participate in training sessions and capacity-building activities
  • Coordinate with field teams to ensure smooth implementation
  • Conduct field visits and support activities in assigned areas
