description of the Assignment:  


The objective of this assignment is to capture, synthesize, and disseminate evidence generated from pilot experiments and transform it into high-quality knowledge products specifically case studies, toolkits, and policy briefs, to support the institutionalization of community-driven Locally Led Adaptation (LLA) and Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) within urban local government systems in Bangladesh. 

  • To capture and synthesize evidence from LLA and NbS pilot interventions, documenting key lessons, impacts, and scalability potential.
  • To produce high-quality, publication-ready knowledge products, including case studies, practical implementation toolkits, and concise policy briefs that meet UNDP and donor reporting standards.

  • To strengthen evidence-based advocacy by linking pilot findings with national development priorities and sectoral strategies.
  • Facilitate peer-to-peer learning among City Corporations and Municipalities (Pourashavas) based on successful urban practices.
  • Provide technical knowledge support to local governments to institutionalize LLA and NbS through capacity development, digital knowledge systems, and resource mobilization partnerships. 

 

Period of assignment/services:  40 working days over a period of 5 (Five) months

 

Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.
