We are a linked charge of two churches in the Tweed Valley, 20 miles south of Edinburgh, in a beautiful part of our diocese. We are looking for a gifted priest who will enjoy the challenge of helping us live the gospel creatively and passionately within our communities.
We are seeking to appoint a Priest-in-Charge who is
- A person of deep personal faith.
- Able to lead us in inspiring liturgical and musical worship.
- A thoughtful and gifted teacher.
- A people person who can encourage children as an integral part of our church life.
- Passionate about helping our congregations engage with our communities.
Within the initial period of this appointment and subject to longer-term financial viability the bishop may, with the consent of the Vestries (church councils), decide to license the Priest-in-Charge as Rector.
