Duties
- Monitor range allotments for compliance with permit conditions under direct supervision.
- Assist with identifying and documenting common plant species.
- Perform basic range management procedures and duties.
- Work in potentially rugged conditions under direct supervision.
- Operate 4WD vehicles and navigate using standard methods and equipment.
- Assist with the maintenance of range improvements using commonly used methods, tools, and equipment.
- Collect field data, enter information into computer applications, and assist in developing basic reports and maps.
- Work as part of a team on a daily basis.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
