The British Embassy in Angola needs a Private Secretary to the Ambassador to provide high-quality, confidential, and politically sensitive executive support to the Ambassador. The role sits at the heart of the Embassy’s leadership and decision-making, managing the Ambassador’s priorities, coordinating and monitoring delivery of Embassy teams, and ensuring effective engagement with senior government, political, business, and civil society stakeholders. The post holder will need sound judgment, discretion, and initiative in a fast-paced and frequently changing environment, ensuring that the Ambassador’s time and influence are used to maximum effect. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting Diplomatic staff and their families. Roles and responsibilities:
