Main purpose of job:
The intern would provide operational and administrative support to the Estates Team. The position will give the intern the opportunity to see how an embassy works and assist the team with everyday tasks and challenges.
Roles and responsibilities:
Perform routine administrative tasks, such as:
- Process invoices, payments, expenses, raise requisitions, etc.
- Reply emails from customers.
- Manage Maintenance Requests Tracker.
- Coordinate works with suppliers.
- Attend Estate related Committee Meetings (Health and Safety, Post Housing).

Essential on arrival:
- The intern must be enrolled in a university/college undergraduate programme that allows participation in a professional internship (“práctica profesional”) for up to 18 months, preferably in administrative or business-related fields.
- Have a proactive attitude to support in the different tasks that will be appointed for, and pay attention to details without losing sight of the general objectives.
- Interested in administration, demonstrate a proactive attitude and attention to detail.
- Eager to learn and contribute, while gaining hands-on experience in administrative operations.
