Main purpose of job:
We reserve the right to review, revise or amend the roles and responsibilities from time to time reflecting the changing needs of business.
The individual will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the water bowser and fuel tanker, including associated generators and rubber hoses. They will regularly inspect and maintain the operational condition of the fuel tanker dispenser and related equipment, promptly reporting any faults or irregularities. Additionally, the individual must identify and report safety hazards to the appropriate authorities to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Roles and responsibilities that a jobholder will be expected to achieve:
- Keep fuel tanker and water bowser tanks filled with diesel fuel and water at all times.
- Coordinate with drivers for refilling fuel from stations and delivering to British High Commission and off-compound houses.
- Maintain accurate records of all fuel and water entries, deliveries, and consumption.
- Ensure safe and spill-free delivery of diesel fuel and water from the bowser to designated drums or tanks.
- Regularly check engine fluids, inspect vehicle interior and exterior, and maintain proper tire pressure.
- Keep fuel tanker and water bowser generator operational through routine checks and servicing.
- Clean fuel tanker, water bowser, and associated equipment regularly.
- Check fuel oil levels frequently and perform generator maintenance to ensure smooth operation.
- Maintain and clean the fuel emergency tank and ensure it is ready for use.
- Report any faults, leaks, or hazards immediately to the line manager.
- Assist in emergency fuel or water supply situations and ensure readiness of backup systems.
- Handle and replace fuel filters, hoses, and fittings when required to prevent contamination or leakage.
- Undertake any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the line manager promptly and efficiently.

Essential on arrival:
- Candidates with at least 5 years of relevant experience will be preferred.
- Candidates must have completed matriculation or secondary school education.
- The candidate must hold a valid LTV or HTV driving license.
- LTV /HTV License and Educational Documents along with experience certificates.

For BHC candidates, the Country Based Staff BHC Terms & Conditions will apply.
For other than BHC candidates the basic salary will be PKR 115,873 per month. This salary is non-negotiable.
