The Role
Every year, the TWB Partnership Program collaborates with the TWB Community to provide millions of words of vital information to over 100 NGOs and UN agencies.
We are looking for a creative, proactive, and energetic Language Services Partnership Program Coordinator to manage the relationships with our NGO partners and oversee the provision of language services. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for ensuring that people all over the world get the information they need in a language and format they understand.
As a Language Services Partnership Program Coordinator, you will be comfortable working remotely with colleagues and volunteers. You will also be a team player with a can-do attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Collaboration:
- Build strong relationships across the organization, particularly with all team members involved in the TWB Partnership Program to develop and manage partnerships with NGO partners
- Develop ways of working within the language services team that encourage cross-team learning and support
- Support in the analysis and onboarding of new language service partnerships
- Develop relationships and manage expectations of internal stakeholders, NGO partners, analysing needs and identifying opportunities to offer innovative language support
- Work closely with in-country team members to proactively develop partnerships and language service offerings, particularly supporting quality processes and standardization
- Actively participate in organization-wide discussions, bringing your unique perspective
Thinking Forward:
- Understand and contribute to organizational strategic direction, ensuring that the language services program team actively seek ways to forward the mission of the organization
- Anticipate future language service needs, and develop innovative service offerings such as the integration of voice, glossaries, and chatbots
- Initiate or support the development of innovative language tools for partners, and contribute to monitoring the impact and reach of crisis language services
Do it right:
- Develop and report on team metrics in a timely manner, including monitoring the status of projects
- Collaborate with the Services & Support team to ensure TWB quality processes and terminology practices are applied and developing custom workflows and improvements if necessary
- Ensure overall quality and accuracy of services delivered
Build the team
- Plan the work of and manage a team of Partner Coordinators, Project Officers and Interns, monitoring and managing workloads and providing support when necessary.
- Collaborate with the Community team to anticipate future needs and ensure sufficient capacity according to available forecasts

Facilitate communication across country program teams

Work within the wider Language Services Team and wider organization to build cross-team coherency.

Qualifications
The Language Services Partnership Program Coordinator should be enthusiastic about the importance of increasing access to knowledge through language. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in language services project/account management
- 2+ years of experience in a management role
- Exceptional communication skills
- Experience working with volunteers and small teams
- Experience as a team leader with the ability to manage a remote team
- Good knowledge of language technology including CAT tools, MT, Terminology and QA Tools
- Good knowledge of standard Microsoft Windows applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
- Previous experience with nonprofit organizations, particularly in disaster relief
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; knowledge of French is desirable
- University Degree in linguistic/translation related studies
