White (White Research SRL) is a young, fast developing boutique research and consultancy company headquartered in Brussels and with a satellite office in Greece. We offer policy advisory, communications & public affairs, and applied research services. We work together with leading EU (& worldwide) companies on the development and implementation of projects and campaigns, as well as academic and industrial partners on large collaborative projects (private sector projects, grants and tenders) in areas ranging from technology, sustainability and mobility to energy, innovation and skill development. To support the management and further growth of our Public Sector Services department, specifically in the area related to EU tenders, we are currently looking for a full-time EU Tenders Manager and team leader, with 4-6 years of experience, for our Brussels office.
Your responsibilities
The selected candidates will be involved in a variety of tasks, including:
- Bid Management: Identifying tenders, setting up consortia as well as managing the write-up and delivery of proposals
- Project Management: Planning and managing the implementation of won EU tenders, like setting up and carrying out strategic studies, evaluations, impact assessments and other types of studies
- People management: Help lead the Public Sector Services department managing and developing our service offering and people
- Engagement and management of external partners and subcontractors
- Reporting to the Managing Director and formulating the strategy for the department in collaboration with the Director
What we look for
We are interested in profiles with the following merits:
- Bsc/Msc Degree in EU Affairs, Social Sciences, Business & Communications, or relevant discipline
- 4-6 years of work experience in EU tenders
- Language skills – Our working language is English. Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is a must! Fluency in other languages is a plus
- Experience in managing (small) teams
- Experience in managing EU tender bids
- Experience in managing EU tender projects
- Strong problem solving and reasoning skills
- Excellent interpersonal and network-building skills
