Qualification and Requirements
MBA, MSc. in Developmental / Communication Studies, or MA in Mass Communication / Public Relations.
Work experience
At least, 5-10 years’ experience in public, private or NGO-sector organizations with involvement in fundraising or donor-related activities.
Knowledge and Competencies.
- A successful record of resource mobilization, working for an international development agency is highly desirable.
- Knowledge and experience producing fundraising and donor communications materials.
- Demonstrated resourcefulness and creativity in developing new story ideas and resource mobilization.
- Superior communications skills, including internal and external communication, community relations, and government relations.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English is mandatory, working knowledge of Dari / Pashto / Urdu an added advantage, as well as French.
