About Market Development Facility (MDF)
The Australian Government-funded Market Development Facility (MDF) stimulates investment, business innovation and regulatory reform in order to create additional jobs and increase the income of poor women and men in rural and urban areas in the Indo-Pacific region. MDF currently operates in Fiji, Timor-Leste, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Papua New Guinea. It is implemented by Palladium in partnership with Swisscontact.

MDF Opportunities
Due to growth in the Fiji and Pacific regional team we are seeking innovative and creative new Business Adviser and Quality and Inclusion (Q&I) Specialists.
Due to the number of opportunities available MDF is seeking passionate, talented individuals with a diverse range of skills to join the Fiji Talent Pool. Our Business Advisers and Q&I Specialists are a critical roles in our growing team.
Working with the supportive team of country coordinators and peers, you will:
* Analyse the sectors of the economy, providing your insights and experiences
* help identify sector growth potential, constraints and innovative solutions
* contribute to development and learning of internal and external audiences through lessons sharing, evidence gathering and events participation.
* Be a primary point of contact and develop long term relationships with Fijian businesses
* Assist private sector businesses to expand while benefiting the community
* Contribute innovative ideas and signing new partnerships
* Manage the implementation and measurement of interventions, including the application of inclusion frameworks and strategies
* Work closely with the Quality and Inclusion team to construct logical results chains and measurement plans to effectively manage and monitor interventions
* Ensure compliance of intervention activities are in line with MDF/Palladium guidelines
