You have experience related to monitoring, evaluation, and research projects in rural environments in Africa You can handle complex field logistics, and are good at management of operations, You are passionate about climate, forestry and ecology, and are a real team player This position is for you!

 

We are looking for a candidate with:

• Minimum of 5 years in implementing and supervising M&E processes and research in Africa, including on livelihood, soils, possibly biodiversity

  • Knowledge and Experience on coffee agronomics (possibly cocoa), rural livelihoods, biodiversity inventories, soil science and testing, and impact evaluation would be strong assets.
  • Graduated from a bachelor’s degree, possibly MSc, in Social Science, Statistics or other
  • Related Field, with experience on M&E in livelihoods, agronomics and sustainability with smallholding coffee growers
  • Strong skills in delivering high-quality reports to clients, possibly to international organizations
  •  Very strong knowledge and experience on statistical methods and tools, on data management, Excel
  • Experience in using ODK-based tools would be an asset

• Organizational skills, reporting & team management

• Must be fluent in English. Knowledge of Amharic and/or Swahili will be strong assets.
