Overview :

Duty Station: Dar es Salama, Tanzania (with a possibility to travel to the field).

Eligibility:  Qualified and Experienced National Expert are invited to submit their proposals ‘’Female candidates are encouraged to apply’’

Period of assignment/services:  40 working days

Contract period: April 2021

Description of the assignment:

To design and develop a full-fledged programme document for UNDP’s support to MoCLA to undertake its core mandate in coordinating and monitoring natural wealth and resources management as part of its contribution to inclusive national development and the welfare of its people.

Description of Responsibilities (scope of the work)

The following are the expected outputs for this evaluation.

  • Conduct a situational analysis including a SWOT and similar analysis to ascertain the current development context of Tanzania in general, identify primary issues, problems and challenges that the programme should address including any barriers to development, growth and its sustainability, and providing priorities, sound recommendations and critical success factors to address the aforementioned in the programme development;
  • Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of all existing and past policies, plans, frameworks, studies and reports that have been used to guide socio-economic transformation in Tanzania in relation to natural wealth resources management.
