The objective of this consultancy is to provide support to the implementation of the MSNP, specifically to support multi-sector coordination at federal, provincial and local government level and operationalization of EU budget support.

The total duration of the consultancy is 11.5 months tentatively starting from 15 June 2021.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
-
University Degree in any Social Science, Management, Nutrition, Public Health, and or any other relevant field
-
At least 10 years of experience working on local level planning social mobilization/social local government or any government institutions under multilateral /bilateral funded project and programme.

Knowledge and experience about multi-sectoral nutrition approaches, preferably with knowledge about the Nepal Multi-Sector Nutrition Plan.

Experience supporting multisectoral planning, local governance, and capacity building.
-
Demonstrated communication, advocacy and social mobilization skills.

Previous work experience with UNICEF or UNICEF supported project and governance sectors is preferred.

Preferably, experience working with NPC and federal ministries that work on nutrition is an asset.

Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
