Organizational Change Management Support Intern| People & Transformation| Brussels
About the role
We are currently seeking a student or career starter to join our People & Transformation team in Brussels to support with a wide range of activities in change-related projects.
In this role, you will be on the front-line helping us serve our clients across our six primary offering areas:
- Communications and engagement: Helping clients to engage, inform, inspire and enable their people to foster excellent performance. This includes developing compelling employee value propositions, designing and executing internal communications, and devising engagement strategies to improve organizational outcomes.
- Change management: Supporting organizations to take their people on a journey of transformation, supporting internal operational transitions and creating strategies to successfully create a new future state.
- Organizational culture: Defining, developing and articulating organizational cultures that resonate with workforces and help people engage with their company’s values. This includes designing and implementing initiatives that communicate and embed cultural values, practices and behaviors, and aligning employees with organizational purpose and strategy to drive performance.
- Workforce and HR: Creating strategies to reshape organizations that will meet evolving business demands and futuristic ways of working. We support through organizational design during major times of change, including restructuring, M&A, IPO as well as regular functional, digital and cultural transformations.
- Leadership excellence: Enabling leaders to shape and communicate their company vision, purpose and behaviors. We devise and deliver leadership excellence programmes to help leaders make the most of their teams and wider organizations through impactful leadership and communication coaching.
- Learning & capability development: Designing and facilitating impactful and engaging learning and development (L&D) solutions across the breadth of companies: from C-Suite to grassroots employees.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for candidates who are curious about how organisations function and want to learn about how we can make organisations and the people in them function optimally – also during times of upheaval and change. As an intern, the ideal candidate may have previous consultancy experience, although we’re more interested to hear about your passion for people and human capital solutions, ideas and creativity, and demonstrable intellectual curiosity.
Ideally, you’ll:
- Have studied psychology, business management, human resource management or communication
- Have a deep curiosity how organisations work and a passion for all things people- and psychology related
- Have some work experience in a communication or management consultancy or a corresponding function on the company side in the areas of change, HR or internal communications
- Be detail conscious, responsible, dependable, and able to work well in a team environment
- Have experience with MS Word, Excel, and have excellent PowerPoint skills
- Be fluent in both Dutch and English
How You’ll Grow
Within the work you will do in the team you will have a wealth of opportunities to:
- Learn the theory and gain experience across all aspects of organizational change management
- Learn to combine strategic oversight with a focus on daily operational project support and management
- Attend client calls and meetings, acting as a reliable point of contact for our clients on a daily basis
- Undertake strategic subject, market and competitor research to support our projects and marketing activities
- Contribute to the writing of proposals and pitches to win new business and support seniors in the team in project planning, scoping and pricing of client projects
- Develop team working, collaboration and project management skills through being part of a team of consultants
- Collaborate with the wider global People & Transformation practice, as well as FTI’s global sector-specific teams, to help bring the best of FTI to clients

You’ll be joining our People and Transformation practice: an international community of 70+ seasoned human capital professionals working across EMEA and USA. The People & Transformation team supports global clients of all sizes – from FTSE 100 and Fortune 500s, to start-ups – to thrive in times of change and transformation by navigating risk and conflict, embracing the opportunities posed by the ‘new normal’ of work in a post-pandemic world and engaging and empowering their people to bring their best selves to work.
In our team you’ll have the opportunity to actively contribute to change and transformation initiatives in some of the world’s greatest organizations and for house-hold brand names. You’ll gain experience in how businesses work in practice and have the chance to shape their organizational cultures and solve complex people problems.
