POSITION SUMMARY
Field Ready is leading an exciting 12-month program in response to the coronavirus pandemic. Working with partners on-the-ground, Field Ready will bring its extensive experience in digital and appropriate manufacturing to connect supply and demand, map capabilities and make essential infection control and PPE items for frontline workers, with the aim of reducing the transmission of COVID-19. This program brings together a set of innovative approaches to make an impact in Bangladesh, Iraq, Kenya and Uganda.
POSITION SUMMARY
The post holder will work closely with the Innovation Lead to source and build strong local partnerships to make the program successful. They will support the Innovation Lead and build relationships with local NGOs, donors, and the healthcare and private sector to identify demand for PPE and infection control items, contributing to the success of the program

RESPONSIBILITIES
The following are illustrative responsibilities that will evolve over time and depend on organisational needs:

Research and identify key stakeholders and establish and manage a database of contact.

Lead engagement with key stakeholders who both require and manufacture infection control items (including NGOs, private sector, government and clinicians) in Cox’s Bazaar.

Manage ongoing relationships with stakeholders, including attendance at key meetings (such as health and WASH cluster) and follow-up.

Build on these relationships to generate leads for the program.

Identify relevant partners and decide on their role within the program.

On-boarding and training of partners using the program processes and platforms.

Follow-up with partners after delivery/receipt of infection control items in order to collect MEL data and to ensure the success of the relationship.

Oversee community development and participation systems.

Responsibility for all related administration and paperwork.

Any other tasks are required.
QUALIFICATIONS & CHARACTERISTICS
Required competencies:

Working with others: the ability to work effectively with others and promote a congenial work environment.

Self-management: the ability to work independently and take initiative to seek out new opportunities and work in a challenging environment.
Required skills and experience:

English & Bangla Language: excellent written and interpersonal communication in English and Bangla.

Location: Applicants should be present in and have the ability to work in Bangladesh with frequent trips around the country, when safe to do so.

Networks: Strong connections in Bangladesh’s aid and NGO communities and ability to use them for the furtherance of the project.
Desirable criteria:

Rohingya Language: the ability to communicate effectively in Rohingya is an advantage.

Innovation: prior work with start-ups, SMEs, social enterprise or co-working spaces an advantage.

Humanitarian work: experience of working with refugees and vulnerable groups such as people with disabilities.
