Job Summary/General Purpose of Job 

Accountable for performing duties related to facilities management, inventory control, asset management, shipping and receiving, event staging, emergency preparedness and disaster recovery, and other related duties in support of all departments.  Responsible for ensuring and promoting an organized, functional, safe, and secure workplace. 


Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent) 

  • Prioritizes and fulfills division’s facilities-related support function to all departments, including monitoring compliance with safety and security protocol. 
  • Performs routine inspection of facilities and equipment and reports maintenance issues and hazards to appropriate parties for upgrade or repair. 
  • Performs duties related to asset management and inventory control, including but not limited to tagging, documentation, and reporting. 
  • Performs duties related to shipping and receiving, including inspection and distribution of incoming mail and assistance with preparation and scheduling of outgoing mail/ packages. 
  • Assists with setup and teardown services for office-related events. 
  • Works with teams and stakeholders to maintain and execute business continuity plans and continue vital operations amid disruption or disaster. 
  • Adapts quickly to new changes or circumstances; manages stress effectively; demonstrates commitment to servant leadership values. 
  • Performs other related duties as required. 
Required Education, Qualifications, Experience 

  • Two (2) years of planning or coordinating experience; or leading and supervising two (2) or more individuals in the general labor field. 
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. 
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service; strong interpersonal and negotiation skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; strong organizational skills; outstanding attention to detail. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Google Business tools. 
  • Proficient with conducting virtual meetings, training, and observations on software platforms such as Zoom, Teams, etc. 
  • Have reliable transportation to travel to off-site work locations. 
  • Have reliable home Internet service. 
Preferred Education, Qualifications, Experience 
  • Possession of a high school diploma/GED or higher degree in business administration, or other work- related field. 
  • Knowledge of ADA and OSHA 10 compliance standards. 
  • Prior volunteer, community, or work in a non-profit, especially in support of vulnerable or underprivileged populations. 
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English and Spanish in written and spoken forms. 

Physical Requirements 
Needs to be able to successfully perform all required duties. Some travel and weekend work may be required. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including a person requiring assistance. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. 

Extent of Travel Required in the Job 
As a normal course of business, this job will typically require travel of less than 5% of the time.

ProBAR leadership has responded proactively to support the health and wellbeing of our staff and the individuals we serve. We are currently providing the majority of our legal services remotely while telecommuting. Hiring range based on experience:
$29,200.00 to $31,840.00
